In January 2008, Waste-Point was appointed as a pioneer Franchisee to provide solid waste services to household and commercial properties in Victoria Island, Lagos under the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) solid waste management franchise business model, a novel Public-Private Partnership (PPP) waste management initiative in Africa.

We are pleased to state that this contract is ongoing following successful waste service delivery within the city.

In attestation of her commitment to prompt and efficient waste service delivery in Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Waste-Point in 2014, also won a Lagos Waste Management Bid for the outsourcing of one of LAWMA-owned waste Transfer Loading Station facility (TLS), thus making Waste-Point the first private firm to manage a Waste Transfer Station facility in Nigeria and West Africa.
